Following the huge success of the original Bourke Street Bakery in Surry Hills, this sister branch opened in Potts Point, and quickly became a local favourite. With a warm and friendly vibe, and a stunning range of bread, it’s everything a good bakery should be. The long counter is filled with sweet and savoury pastries, making it hard to decide what to order. The coffee tastes incredibly good too – not overly sweet, and perfect with cakes or pastries. The latte is always consistent here, but the long black is perfect with the famous ginger brûlée tart. The sausage rolls make a great lunch – the lamb and harissa roll with almonds is a speciality. This place is small, with mostly communal tables, but thankfully there is also outdoor seating.
